School of Dog Obedience
Obedience training is beneficial for first time or seasoned owners, those with multiple pets, or owners of misbehaving dogs. Our classes bring wonderful results with any breed of dog(s). Tucker & Miles Paw Prints training is based on TRUST and RESPECT. We personalize and tailor the training to fit the needs of you and your dog.
Benefits of Private In-Home Dog Training:
- Your dog is trained where he is most comfortable
- Your dog is more relaxed and receptive to new learning in his own territory
- Your dog’s behavior problems are most likely to occur and are more easily addressed where he is relaxed and comfortable
Once your dog has learned proper manners around your home, we can progress to distraction training in parks, greenways, open-space, schoolyards, pet shops, and/or any dog-friendly environment. Imagine being able to confidently take your dog anywhere you go and know that they will listen to you every time!

Each of your hour-long sessions will address the specific goals that we have defined in your customized training plan. The number of sessions we recommend will be based primarily on the number of behavioral issues you wish to change. Other factors will include your dog's temperament, previous training, your current relationship with your dog, and your commitment to the training.
There is no minimum number of sessions. You may select just one session to polish-up obedience commands, get some help with a behavioral issue or have a comprehensive plan that gives you reliable off-leash control. We can even prepare you and your dog for participation in dog sports, such as agility.
While you are a client, you will be entitled to telephone and/or e-mail consultations. No more waiting until your next lesson to ask questions that have come up between classes! Most importantly, FREE consultations are always available following the conclusion of our training.
Remember, the most common reason for healthy dogs to be put to sleep or relinquished to the humane societies is poor behavior.
